George Karl Wins 2010 ESPYs Perseverance Award

George Karl, coach of the Denver Nuggets, earned the nod of the judges to win the 2010 ESPYs Perseverance award.  George Karl endured 5 months of cancer treatments and is now making a comeback in the NBA.  The Perseverance Award was named after legendary college football coach Jim Valvano who died from cancer.
