Pat Haden | Who Is Pat Haden?

Pat Haden will be replacing Mike Garrett as the new athletic director at USC. This after the school was slapped with heavy sanctions by the NCAA over it's 'lack of institutional control'. Sanctions included a four year probation, a two year bowl-ban, and some scholarship restrictions. The violations revolved around illegal benefits for Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo. USC is also set to return the replica of Bush's Heisman Trophy to the Heisman Trust.

'Patrick Capper Haden (born January 23, 1953 in Westbury, New York, United States) is scheduled to become the athletic director at the University of Southern California. He played quarterback for the USC Trojans before playing professionally in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams from 1976 to 1981. He is a Rhodes Scholar, an attorney. He is known mostly for his work as a former sportscaster for NBC during Notre Dame football games.' - wikipedia
